About Rudi 🇺🇦

The kids are at parties and I don't feel like cooking -- so let's see what the countryside has to offer in terms of cuisine.

This economy we stopped by a few ago, looked interesting. What you find on the net sounds positive.

Starting off with tired legs, I already noticed on the Engerloher Berg that this wasn't going to be a fast lap. I tried my best, but the climbs were difficult for me today. Let's blame the heat.

The meadowsweet is already ready to harvest here and smells good, I even saw one on the MTB picking it.

Little going on, train for me alone. Towards the end it got a bit cold.

Unfortunately, the Re Teodorico on the Castel S. Pietro was full, so we got off and went to the Redentore down on the Adige, which is less spectacular but surprisingly cheap.

The train to Verona left at 1:40 p.m.; we were able to leave bikes and luggage in an adjoining room in the hostel and head back into town.

Tourists were already piling up on the bridge. Large groups of people with Alpini hats queued up in front of the grappa shops and drank grappa from paper cups. It

The youth hostel is housed in a former Capuchin monastery. The church itself is used by the Romanian Orthodox community of Bassanos, when we arrive there is a wedding going on. From the room where we store our bikes, we look directly into the side aisle at the priest and the bridal couple, the door is

We left Belluno relatively early in order to manage the coming climb before the greatest heat. Nevertheless, the drive to Carrazai will be a hot battle, and we are happy when we have the 8 hairpin bends behind us after 20 km.

We ride along the slopes to the west of the Piave valley, which means there

When you look out of the dew-soaked tent, the sky is bright blue, not a trace of clouds. After a quick coffee and croissant in the café on site, the tent is sufficiently dry and we set off along the western shore of Lake Dobbiaco. The view of the Dolomites and the lake is wonderful, we stop again for

Early in the morning we let friends who are on their way to Lake Garda drop us off at the Brenner Pass. After a first cup of coffee in Anita's café, we set off along familiar paths. The old cycle path is sometimes quite bumpy until it makes the turn into the valley behind at Vipiteno, where it is new
