Sweat and sweat .... that afternoon was a tough nut to crack in the pampas towards Kissing and Bachern with MTB MTThe sun pushed out more and more in the afternoon, the temperatures went up to 7 degrees.
Before the ice and snow dissolve, a MTB tour had to be done ❄️💦
So the spikes in front are great for ice! If, however, there is a lot of mud and soft snow, there is of course a lack of grip, and spikes, including the rear wheel, slip away. But without it it would have been nothing today. The tour was very exhausting, after the 15 km my battery was almost empty, so exhausting is it with snow and mud and balancing the bike. The forest paths were relatively easy to ride today, as they are often flat and icy, which is what the bike in front likes. For MTBers as info! Today I inflated the HR to 1.9 bar and the VR to 2.0 bar to have optimal grip.
Result: in the conditions today I had no feeling whether there was more grip, I just often slipped with the mud! 🤔🤨All in all, it was exhausting but varied today and the weather was great for beautiful pictures 🤩☀️🏔⛅️⛄️❄️

Oops, but hello ... the bike goes away as soon as I drive out of my driveway, it's as smooth as a mirror! 🙄😳
So it's time to go very carefully on the tour with the trekking bike. But already after Hörmannsberg on the bike path, fun is over! The whole cycle path is icy, beginning to end of the mountain. Nothing salted on the way!
So get off and go up along the edge of the field with your bike. For this a nice picture of the alpine chain was made right above, which is showing itself again today 🏔❄️
On the mountain down, I decided to switch to the salted road to be on the safe side. Which in turn led to some head shaking when driving a car, according to the motto "The road is mine, you cyclist please take the bike path", don't see my problem with the icy bike path 😂On the way to Greifenberg, the roads were perfectly free of ice. But after Greifenberg in the direction of Eching im Wald the same drama. Everything iced up again 💦❄️, so get off and walk along the edge ... Preventing falls has the highest priority here 🙂
After the forest section it was then free of ice again and the journey to Stegen could continue. When I arrived in Stegen, I was overwhelmed by the sunny weather, the light layer of ice on the edge of the Ammersee, the view of the Alps 🤩😍. Super light for beautiful photos, the icy paths and the ice floes are reflected in the sun, it couldn't be better for beautiful motifs on the "running belt" 😁
Must have spent an hour taking photos in that section of the lake. Then up the mountain road in Stegen to take a photo over the lake on the panorama road, then we went home via Inning, Grafrath and Jesenwang. The 4 degrees at the top decreased again to 0 degrees after the sun was quite low. But then I was just at home 🙂⛄️⛅️

Wow, I say ..... 🤩 On Saturday morning, the front wheel of the oldie MTB was converted to spike tires. The MTB was as happy as a schnitzel that there was new footwear with 361 claws at the front 👞😁 since the last trips were partly a fury on the dirt roads 😂
The recommendation from the manufacturer to run the spike tires about 40 - 50 km on asphalt, I had to implement immediately this afternoon. I don't want to put anything on the back burner 😉 and the weather should soon thaw the snow 💦
Tire inflated to 2.3 bar low pressure and off we went on the road. But instead of asphalt, it was first on the uncleared cycle path towards Tegernbach. OK, the 1st spike test is already on 😉 I took the bike path and didn't switch to the street. Temperatures were at + 1 degrees, but then the west wind felt - 5 degrees ❄️😨A highlight was ... now I've seen a tractor with a sledge, a horse with a sledge, an SUV with a sledge, dad with a sledge 😁 and today with the wind a snowboarder with a paraglider around the corner from me and a skier with a paraglider in Jesenwang . Is there anything else? I can't think of anything to top it off as a leisure activity! ⛄️⛷🏂❄️🤩After 53 km (spikes are now retracted) we went into the dirt roads near Sirchenried. The spikes have to show their quality! And I was not disappointed 🤩It was a pleasure how the front wheel plowed straight through the snow and ice surfaces without any deflections. My rear wheel had a lot more problems with the grip, which was shown by repeated sideways breaking or simply slipping through in the snow. I'm thinking about converting the rear as well. Hopefully the winter is still a little bit longer and I'm usually only off-road with my MTB 🚴♂️The paths in the prairie outside were very rough, a fully would be great, so I was really shaken. But that's the way it is, because those who hold onto their old MTB hold on always have to open their mouths slightly, otherwise their teeth will clatter 🤣Summary: Good decision to have converted to spikes, now the fun outside has been increased again. Of course, it would also be better at the back, because I'm close to placing an order 😁🙂🚴♂️

What a change to yesterday 🙃 Today continuous snowfall for the hike. Sometimes very nice 🌧, there is no wind.
The tour was planned to take about 2 hours after noon. Didn't want to come home as snowmen ☃️😁We decided on a tour similar to the one I went yesterday, but shortened. The farm roads were great to walk with the fresh snow today, no comparison to yesterday.Lots of snow makes people inventive when it comes to pulling sleds in the seclusion of our farm roads 😳
A quad pulled a sled behind and an SUV pulled three sledges 🚙🛷🛷🛷if it only goes well 🤔Photos have also been taken again, but today they are rather poor in the light conditions, too diffuse and much brighter contrast due to the snow. But I can't do without photos 📱😉

The sun is simply kind to me ☀️🙂
After I started with light snowflakes, the sun came out more and more after 30 minutes and I was almost warm when walking 😁🚶♂️Today my hike took me along the farm roads in the direction of Kissing to the Seewieshof. From there it went into the Heilachwald, which I soon left because of the beautiful weather. The farm roads were partly very smooth today under the light snow of today. Going nicely at the edge was the right remedy against slipping today or simply marching directly into the fields.Except for a few hikers with horses and a few other hikers, I was on my own. Towards the end there was a light icy fan, but it did nothing for the beautiful hike.
The beautiful play of clouds with the sun was again perfect for photos today. I am satisfied with my "yield" 👍😉

In the afternoon the sun actually came out unexpectedly 🤩!
Then the weekend was ushered in 😁🚶♂️☃️ for a short hike, where it is particularly beautiful now 😏 ... and these are the lakes here.
Due to the permafrost, the lakes are now frozen over and are also accessible for all kinds of sports activities on the ice 🥌⛸🏒🥅
The specialty of Weitmannsee is that it never completely freezes on the south side !! You have to pay attention to that!Nice photos should come out again 📱🙂 The sun is already a little lower on the way back and creates a nice warm light, ideal for photos of the lake and the surrounding area 🙂All paths were frozen, but some were smooth and had to be walked with caution, especially the narrow paths to the south in the forest area where it was sometimes steeper up and down along the bank. But so far everything went well, the approx. Two hours went by again like in flight. Could catch the last rays of sun in the west before it disappeared behind the trees ⛅️ on the horizon.

An ice cold west wind came up around noon. But that didn't stop us from taking a short lunch walk around the corner today.
Due to the wind, the short hike first went to the east, towards Tegernbach on the bike path and then later to the south away from the paths towards Baierberg in the forest area protected from the wind. There we found a folded banker. Folded out briefly (ingenious concept with snow protection, I haven't seen it anywhere else) and it was ready to rest and enjoy the landscape. 😉⛅️⛄️❄️Since the farm roads were heavily blown with snow by yesterday's wind / storm, we walked a lot across the fields swept by the snow. Which was very nice and easy to walk on.
It was a play of clouds in the sky again today, so different in the four directions, simply fascinating for me as a hobby photographer to capture it again with my mobile phone 📱📷
The 2 hours went by in a flash, it was nice

Good for those who can organize their own time 💼🤓📱 🚴♂️🚶♂️😁After Frosti ❄️ conjured up a wonderful frost in the landscape overnight, today was a short hike over field and meadow paths into the Meringer Hart forest. The fine mist made the whole thing interesting! The photos today have a black and white character through the gray. But personally, I always find it very impressive, sometimes without splashes of color. 🤩Since I was on foot today, I was always able to go to the frozen fields away from roads and farm roads. You don't otherwise have these options without seeing everything. 😉

Wow i say! 😀🚴♂️☃️❄️
What a great game of clouds the first hour of my tour. Wonderful landscape views on the small hills of the farm roads open up in front of Kissing, before it goes into the forest and the sun shows itself more and more and looks through the branches of the trees ⛅️ grandiose I say 🤩
The farm roads were partly easy to drive, but partly also super smooth through snow pressed by tractors. But the best thing was that in the middle of the tour I met Martina with a gravel bike on a farm road. We knew each other through Komoot, but not personally. Made nice advice, I was very happy Tina 🙂👍😃 Gladly again 🤗The rest of the tour went back home in the beautiful Heilach Forest. A nice, not too long MTB tour came to an end 🚴♂️🙂☃️❄️

Took a short hike today for a change. Maybe we'll catch a few more rays of the sun doing it ⛅️🙂
The snow holds up wonderfully on the farm roads and is still nice and handy as the temperatures are still around freezing point.
Very nice to enjoy this white landscape with a wide view.
