Vandaag liep ik de 10de etappe van Camino Brabant; van Baarle Nassau naar Breda. Met Aad op tijd richting Brabant, zijn fiets achterin. Niet zulk fotogeniek weer, maar de beelden geven toch een indicatie. Etappes lopen van A naar B zorgt er regelmatig voor dat je kilometers lang rechtdoor loopt. Dan is het altijd afwachten of de omgeving dan niet bloedstollend saai wordt. Ook vandaag was dat op zich weer goed te doen. Het langste - niet afwisselende stuk - rechtdoor zat aan het begin, maar in een mooie omgeving is dat goed vol te houden. En als ik te ongedurig word zet ik een podcast op. Vandaag al wandelend een paar afleveringen geluisterd van Hitlers Meisjesschool over het geheim van Heythuyzen. Weliswaar in Limburg, maar met een kloostergebouw in de hoofdrol en gesproken met een zachte g, een bijzondere ervaring tijdens deze wandeling en sowieso een aanrader deze podcast. A walk with friends in the dunes of Egmond Binnen. It's so beautiful there, you sometimes feel like you're abroad. We finished with a late lunch at the Ruiterhuys in Castricum (highly recommended!). In short, lots of fun on this gray first day of February 😀.
