Today's @komoot community hike at Keswick Mountain Festival was a pleasure to be part of! Our jaunt along Derwent Water and up Walla Crag from the festival village was a circular just over 8km. Lots of excitable chatter and adventure story telling was had. Thank you for your company everyone!

This was a 10-mile (16 km) loop of the Howgill Fells of the Yorkshire Dales with my lovely hiking community. Group hikes make my soul sing. Back in 2017, I founded an informal hiking club through Instagram and, in the space of a year, I’d met friends for life, bonded over our shared love of the outdoors
