Der Sessellift transportierte uns heute von der Talstation am Kranzberg bis zur Bergstation St. Anton. Von hier oben kann man das umliegende Bergpanorama genießen, insbesondere den Blick auf Mittenwald.
Nach der ersten Tasse Kaffee im Restaurant stiegen wir ab zum Lautersee und stärken uns hier mit einem Imbiss.
Wir umrundeten den See und waren vom dominanten Karwendel begeistert.
Am See hatte der Gebirgstrachtenverein von Mittenwald eine kleine Kapelle errichtet die sich harmonisch in die Landschaft einfügt. Über einen breiten Pfad kehrten wir wieder durch den Tann zum Parkplatz zurück.
