If the story of yesterday was wind, then today it’s rain. BUT today was a much more enjoyable day. There are a lot of long straight roads on Orkney so you do need to prepare for vehicles passing at high speeds. The loop around the standing stones is a lot calmer even though it is single track with passing places. The history and the landscape is in abundance so needed to be jumping on and off the bike a lot and forgetting to pause the Garmin. If Orkney is true to its word then dry day tomorrow and time for Skara Brae
