Schöne Rundwanderung ab dem Wanderparkplatz Nothweiler, direkt an der Grenze zu Frankreich. Es geht auch gleich ins Elsass und zu 4 unterschiedlich gut erhaltenen Burgruinen. Die Festung Fleckenstein ist die besterhaltenen und die einzige, die Eintritt kostet (€6,- pro Person), alle anderen sind kleiner und können kostenfrei erkundet werden. Ein Streckensbschnitt ist ein wunderschöner Felsenpfad, vorbei an tollen Buntsandsteinfelsen.
