**🌿 Wednesday Long Walk – 1st July 2026 🚶♀️🚶♂️
'Twenty walkers enjoyed a fantastic 12.5-mile hike through the beautiful Moss Valley, taking in peaceful woodland, golden hay fields, and ripening corn fields under perfect walking weather. ☀️
Starting in Eckington, the route followed Lady Ida's Drive to Bramley, crossed open countryside to Troway, before climbing to Ridgeway via Lightwood Lane. The group then continued through Plumbley and past Eckington Hall, crossed the River Rother, and finished along the Trans Pennine Trail back to Eckington Church.'
