Allison isn’t feeling well today so we decided to take a road trip to Rye harbour for a shortish walk just to get some fresh air. The rather forecast for today was a bit poor too.
It’s only 19 miles from where we’re staying but the journey time was over an hour ! We witnessed some atrocious driving with a lot of selfishness and a blatant disregard for the Highway Code.
Anyway the walk was very nice, it was foggy when we arrived which made for some atmospheric images. The one that looks like sheep dung is actually cuttlefish eggs. It’s a huge nature reserve with access for all, bicycles and those people with mobility issues.
I could have spent hours there but didn’t so we could get back to our holiday home.
It’s been thundering here too anI’m currently waiting for either a lightening show or a rainbow , it’s that sort of weather.
