Almost seven miles at Colonel Francis J. Beatty Park today. The ride was mostly singletrack, not my usual go‑to, but the shade was worth chasing. With the heat settling in, the cool cover of the trees made the twists, roots, and narrow lines feel like the right call. A quiet ride through the woods, trading open paths for something slower, softer, and tucked away from the sun.
