Just me today for a post lunch stroll east along the coast towards Bexhill along Norman’s bay.
It appears that where I’m staying is where William the Conqueror came ashore in 1066.
Also I learned that part of the beach I was walking on is a naturist beach but no bits were out today!!
Part of my route also crossed “private beaches” there were several very nice beach residences on that stretch but no one stopped me to remonstrate.
My brother is coming to visit tonight and a BBQ is planned.
