MeH. Bellingham Bridge, Hareshaw Linn Waterfall loop. 500th trail on Komoot
This is not an easy trail to get through. There's a bad section with many fallen trees covering the ride line. Some surfaces have had deep wet mud and are challenging to get through. The worst part is where you are riding ona MTB double track, then suddenly it turns to a flat rock with a stream running down it, under the water the rock surfaces offers no grip and is badly slippy, I fell off here and twisted the hanging bracket on the derailleur. Soaking wet and covered in slimy sticky sludge I had to ride on with about 9 miles still to get through. There are some good quick gravel tracks also, miles of them on the southern side of Kielder, fun, flowing and fast at times. This is a physical trail to get through. There is also an uphill section where excessive tree branches and covering the trail with deep sunken tyre tracks, this was not good to get through.

MeH. Alwinton Hazely Law loop. Cheviot Hills
Good to see the car park at Alwinton, which is the best starting point, now has had Park Bike tools added for the public. There is pump for inflating tyres, an elevated rack for working on the bikes and some tools on long steel wires. These are located to the right side of the toilet block

First ride in over two months. I had to try to rest my knee after tendon and ligament damage. Recent calisthenics / gymnastics training have made me realise I have a limitation due to the damage done. 3 times I have getting injuries coming from the original injury. Nice trail to ride, good weather and scenic.

MeH. Local, short loop before training
Quick local ride to keep my streak going which is about 230 weeks now. Not riding as often due to needing to rest tendons and ligaments in the knee after a bad crash in Brugge, Belgium earlier this year. I have two calisthenics training sessions this evening, one is the coaches I use and the others are the exercises I was doing prior to getting a coach. Most days I am walking about 11,000 steps just now, but I do not use Komoot for this, just a pedometer app

MeH. Snipe House, Alnwick Moors loop
Like riding on a glacier, having to be careful on front brake and keeping ride speed lower to be safe. Decent calorie burner trail though. Feet bit cold, should have put overshoes on buy just used gaiters so toes bit nippy
