Ab dem Seeleiten-Parkplatz führt ein Forstweg vorbei an der Unteren Steinwendalm zum Laberer Boden. Weiter geht es den Forstweg entlang bis zur Materialseilbahn der Gollinghütte. Von hier führt nun ein Wanderweg am Wasserfall vorbei zur Gollinghütte, die von vielen Wanderern zur Übernachtung während einer Tour auf dem Schladminger Tauern Höhenweg oder für die Königstour Klafferkessel genutzt wird. Etwa eine Viertel Stunde von der Hütte liegt am Fuße der Hochgolling-Nordwand der romantische Gollingwinkel.
