Atzenbrugg im Bezirk Tulln liegt im idyllischen Tal der Perschling. Historisch bedeutend ist Schloss Atzenbrugg, wo Franz Schubert in den 1820er-Jahren mehrfach zu Gast war.
Das zauberhafte Schloss Atzenbrugg und dessen Park boten Franz Schubert (1797–1828) und seinem Freundeskreis in den Juli-Monaten der Jahre 1820 bis 1822 und wahrscheinlich auch 1823 einen idyllischen Rahmen für gemeinsames Musizieren und geselliges Beisammensein.
