Die russische Kolonie Alexandrowka ist für mich ein echtes Highlight.
König Friedrich Wilhelm III. ließ sie in den Jahren 1826 bis 1827 als Denkmal der Freundschaft für seinen verstorbenen Freund Zar Alexander I. errichten. Die Siedlung wurde als Wohnort für die letzten zwölf russischen Sänger eines ehemaligen Soldatenchores gebaut und sind mit großen Bauern Gärten umgeben.
Seit 1999 ist die Anlage Teil des UNESCO- Weltkulturerbes und die Häuser sind weiterhin bewohnt.
