A Grade 1 scramble on the northern edge of Bleaklow, Lawrence Edge has amazing views over Woodhead Reservoir and the moorland beyond. We also visited the wreck site of the Wellington R1011, which crashed in 1943. This walk involves lots of off path walking on wet, boggy moorland, and good navigational skills are essential.
