Vom kostenlosen Parkplatz gibt es einen schönen Weg nach Barhöft. Auch ein Abstecher zum Aussichtsturm lohnt sich, kann man von dort oben doch über den Bock bis Hiddensee schauen.
Das Stück über den Deich ist nur im Winter oder zeitigen Frühjahr zu empfehlen. Später ist einfach sehr zugewachsen.
Im Hafen sind die Fischbrötchen in der Proviantkiste zu empfehlen.
