Yes, it's difficult to find hiking buddies for a tour at short notice during the week. Some people still have to work. So there were only four of us, but we were in good spirits! It was a lovely hike in perfect weather. We also found plenty of alder cup fungi, which we'll be mapping today!

This was our first hike of the year, which was originally planned for January. But back then, the awful weather thwarted our plans. Now the weather is beautiful, the trails are free of snow and ice, and all the paths are nice and dry. We were also happy to welcome two new hikers.
