Das Naturschutzgebiet "Strandseelandschaft bei Schmoel" ist ein etwa 50 Hektar großes Gebiet in Schleswig-Holstein, das durch den Rückbau eines Teilstücks des alten Landesschutzdeichs entstanden ist. Es bietet Lebensraum für zahlreiche Vogelarten und dient als Ausgleichsmaßnahme für den Landschaftsverbrauch der Deichverstärkung an der Probsteier Küste. Das Gebiet ist besonders für Vögel wie Reiher, verschiedene Entenarten und Zugvögel wie Zwergstrandläufer und Grünschenkel wichtig.
Seit den 1990er Jahren ist die Landschaft durch den Rückbau von über einem Kilometer Deich direkt an der Ostseeküste zu einem naturbelassenen Gebiet geworden.
