Alpine Huts

Without them, the mountains would be much more uncomfortable and unsafe. An overnight stay at such airy heights would be a lot more effort, not to mention having to miss out on some Kaiserschmarrn at the end of a long day. And where else would we exchange a few stories with the sociable hut keepers? The infrastructure of the shelters, which we are accustomed to in the Alps, is unique worldwide. Thanks to them, we can snorkel up high, far away from everyday life, climb up from summit to summit and be close to the stars. Whether for a weekend, a multi-day hike or the Sunday excursion—a hut visit is always worth it.
