Hiking a mountain is always a special experience. Sometimes steep and demanding, sometimes gentle on wide forest roads. Along the way, there is a lot to see – but nothing exceeds that moment when you're at the top and your mind is carried away by the view over the mountain ranges. And even better: Sleeping on a hut where you can enjoy these magnificent views during sunset and sunrise in a even more magical light.

We curated some easy and intermediate tours to huts in breathtaking mountain sceneries. They are distributed in the Austrian states of Corinthia, Salzburg and Tyrol as well as the Italian South Tyrol. The tours to the Seethalerhütte, Pendlinghaus and Tabarettahütte can also be easy day hikes, but overnights are just way better. On the huts you’ll get the most wonderful views, alpine hospitality and delicious local food. Time to enjoy yourself.

If you look at the Pendling from Kufstein, you can already see the Pendlinghaus at the top. From Thiersee you can reach the top in about 1.5 hours. The view makes one of the socks. The Similaunhütte is located in the Ötztal Alps at the foot of the Similaun and is a much-used base, especially for the high tours on the Similaun and the Fineilspitze.
