    Adolf-Nossberger-Hütte

    Hiking Highlight

The Adolf-Nossberger-Hütte is located in the Hohe Tauern National Park, in the heart of 15 three-thousand meter mountains in the Carinthian Schober Group. The path to the hut from the Gradenalm is an impressively beautiful experience. Above all, we were able to observe many wild animals here. Once at the top, the hut is located directly on Gradensee, where you can also go boating. You feel right at home here immediately. The host Christian really knows how to cook: The food is excellent. An absolute highlight is the Finnish bath barrel, which is fired with wood. Rustic wellness in the middle of the mountains - perfect for all lovers and those who are looking for relaxation. This year, even a sauna is built. The "Nossi", as the hut is affectionately called, offers you so much that you do not want to leave. And around the hut there are many great mountain tours. Just perfect. All information about the hut and current prices can be found here: nossberger.at

    Nürnberger Hütte

    Hiking Highlight

The Nürnberger Hütte is definitely one of my favorites. I was there on the Stubai High Trail and on a separate tour to the Wild Freiger. It is also a base for the transition to Italy. On my last visit, I got to know a couple there, that has spent his wedding day here. Who can blame them, the romantic cottage offers double rooms and the environment and tranquility here could not be more beautiful.

Near the hut there is a via ferrata and climbing garden, the host is a ski and mountain guide and is always available to advise if you have any questions. Simply a great hut, which also offers delicious food and prepared with many own products. A wonderful all-round package.

    Ravensburger Hütte

    Hiking Highlight

A wonderful hut that serves many alpinists and athletes as a base and starting point for adventurous mountain and climbing tours. Here you can dive into the mountains and leave everyday stress in the valley. The hut team is incredibly friendly and you really feel at home here, the food is also highly recommended and is freshly prepared - mostly with regional products. The location, the food, the rooms - perfect for a short break for two. Hopefully you have good weather, because the view from the panoramic terrace is really priceless. Reintalangerhütte

    Mountaineering Highlight

The hut of the Alpine Club section Munich is located near the Reintalschluss in the Wettergebirge. The hut is very easy to reach in summer and therefore perfect for families with children. The location between the high cliffs is impressive and the cabin environment offers much to discover and experience. So perfect for a break with the family - parents enjoy the wild romance and children's wild adventures. All information about the hut can be found here: davplus.de/reintalangerhuette

    Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte

    Hiking Highlight

It is not for nothing that the Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte is praised as the hut with the best views. You have the free choice between a magnificent distant view of the Wilder Kaiser, the Inntal or from the Zillertal Alps to the Wendelstein.

But as a hungry hiker you are not satisfied with the view alone. I could savor all kinds of Tyrolean specialties here - the cuisine here is absolutely fantastic. Only the price is a bit higher compared to other huts in this region. Overall, however, highly recommended.

But above all the fantastic sunset over the Inn Valley is worth a visit. The hut is also a base on the four-day imperial tour. An absolute recommendation. Hiking through the Kaisertal is a uniquely beautiful experience.

    Berliner Hütte

    Mountaineering Highlight

We were right after a snowstorm in early August at the Berliner Hütte. We have just hiked over the Schönbichler Horn and have been more than happy to come to the warm room. The cabin is impressive, it feels like being transported back in time. A grand hotel of yesteryear and still beautiful. The place where the hut stands is in any case a madness, the view of the glaciers, through the green valley, the surrounding three-thousanders, simply breathtaking. Inside everything is dark paneled, the rooms are high and somehow splendid, very noble. The food is really delicious. After the long hike, the Kaiserschmarrn was perhaps even the best I have ever eaten. Here you can stay and enjoy your time.

All information about the Berliner Hütte, which of course is also a base of the Berlin Höhenweg, can be found here: berlinerhütte.at

Whether the view of the ski operation is beautiful, lies at the discretion of the beholder. What I can confirm - the operators are very nice and accommodating!

This romantic self-catering cottage is located below the Halserspitz in the Rofan Mountains. Quite nice and if you're lucky, you're even alone there. Wonderfully lonely Almleben, where the water from the well must be carried in. The little hut is a wonderful place for lovers and friends. Lindauer Hütte

    Hiking Highlight

This huge, wonderful mountain hut is located above Tschagguns, in the middle of the Montafon. The view of the Rätikon mountains is gigantic.

The Lindauer Hütte is very well equipped. Cozy double rooms and the sauna in the hut are just two points that make couples' hearts beat faster.

But not only in summer, because in winter you can go sledding here. You can get more information about the Lindauer Hütte here: lindauerhuette.at

    Kreuzwiesen Almhütte

    Hiking Highlight

What a top alp! Partly I felt like staying in a hotel during my stay. Sauna with wood burning stove and window with panoramic views, luxurious double rooms, 6-course menu on certain occasions, finest coffee beans for breakfast ... This alpine hut is really at the highest level and is still down to earth and sympathetic. Especially as a starting point for hikes, it is perfectly located. Chapeau, chapeau!

    Kemptner Hütte

    Hiking Highlight

Surrounded by the Bavarian Alps, the Kemptner Hütte in its present size, with over 100 room beds, has been available to all mountain lovers since 1904. The food here is a dream. I think some people just go up to enjoy the same, not to walk maybe even further. In addition, the products are from largely regional production. Highly recommended. Even more recommendable, of course, is to use the hut as a starting point for one of the many great mountain tours in the area.
