The LandStreifer journey through time runs through the Dingden Heath. What is particularly nice is that the entire history of the Dingdener Heide is presented on information boards along the way. The tour runs along beautiful paths between forests, fields and meadows. Due to its length of just over 5 km, this tour is very suitable for walks with children. 🏞🥾🌞⛰️
A nice short Sunday round, well signposted and not overcrowded. There are parking spaces in several places along the circular route.
The route leads through dense forests, past quiet lakes and flowering meadows. Along the way, you might come across deer or hares, which are particularly active in the early morning or late afternoon. The air is filled with the scent of nature, and every now and then you can hear the chirping of birds nesting in the trees. A special attraction along the way is the viewpoint, from which you can enjoy a wide view of the surrounding area. It is worth taking a break here and enjoying the beauty of nature to the fullest. If you are lucky, in clear weather you can see all the way to the horizon, where heaven and earth seem to touch. At the end of the hike, you will return refreshed and with new impressions. This hike is not only a physical activity, but also an opportunity to escape from everyday life and unwind.
A nice little loop. The just over 5 kilometers lead along rustic paths and trails. The trail crosses the "Kleine Dingdener Heide" nature reserve, a wet heathland area.
First of all... the short walk was worth it... and was a perfect opportunity on the way to the LANDSTREIFER Diersfordter Wald. The website hohe-mark-steig.de promises a hike through the era of landscape design. There are numerous information panels along the route about the landscapes and their history. Rustic paths and trails lead through the time zones of landscape history over the past 700 years – but there's also a stretch of asphalt from today, which is quickly forgotten at the end of the tour!
A well-signposted, beautiful circular hiking trail that takes you on a journey through the management of the landscape. It leads largely through forests, fields and meadows, and drainage ditches can be seen throughout the forest.
A wonderful little hike in perfect winter weather.
