The hike of the 3-mountain tour Altenberg starts at the foot of the brothers Großer Lugstein and Kleiner Lugstein on the 4th Advent.

Via the mining village of Zinnwald-Georgenfeld, it goes along the German-Czech border towards Kohlhaukuppe (879m), which is also called "Knoblauchkuppe" because of the delicacies in the mountain hut.
