This afternoon around the lower basin of the Markersbach pumped storage plant. Parked at the vantage point on the viaduct, which turned out to be not so cheap! At first the path was good, albeit quite a climb, but then it led over a meadow, which was also possible, but there was no path at the transition into the forest there, at the beginning still a beaten path, which then also got lost. Later I came across a trail, I suppose it had nothing to do with Weg, but I made it to the lower pool, even though I would have liked to have had sticks 🙈 with me even in a few places. Then it was about the lower basin, only the sun did not want to have mercy today😏.
At the inlet I was able to watch a fire brigade exercise and then I went on the other side, past Mühlchen-Platz, back to the dam wall. Since I didn't want to cut my way across the forest again, I went over the dam and on this side down to Markersbach, but still had a lot of road to walk

This morning I ran another lap with the borrowed dogs. It was pretty cold 🥶💨 and the paths, how should it be otherwise, muddy. The dogs then too 🤭😅.
The two were also megalomaniac and growled and barked at an unleashed sheepdog and rider. Fortunately, everyone was well behaved 😅🙋🏻‍♀️.

Today again only small stretches, because today I had several points of contact on the day of traditional handicrafts. First we went to the Saigerhütte Grünthal (Olbernhau), there it was still very quiet, apart from a few stalls and a chainsaw carver there was not much to see. My second stop was the old iron hammer in Dorfchemnitz near Sayda, where there was an interesting tour, followed by a tour through the home room, the old chair factory and the fire department exhibition.
Quickly a bratwurst and a B-Bemme with garlic 😄, then it went on to Blockhausen, which is close by. Many unique sculptures, as many of you already know, but always nice to look at👍.
And then at the end of the day we went to the Heimathaus Rechenberg-Bienenmühle, OT Clausnitz, where you can visit a small exhibition of old household items, as well as the demonstration of straw weaving, a handicraft from ancient times.
This was another full day 😁🙋‍♀

The second part of today: on the way to the day of traditional handicrafts (also tomorrow, on October 17th! 👍), on the way back the mirror forest lured in wonderful autumn weather, and so I walked to the King Albert Tower and was able to enjoy the view enjoy from above, simply indescribably beautiful! Truly the balcony of the Ore Mountains! Then we visited the small exhibition in the tower, also done very nicely! Enjoyed the sun ☀️ on the way back to the car. My way led via Geyer, where Matthias Dietzsch's wood carving company was also open today.
And finally, the visit to the Lahl Massefiguren company in Mildenau was the crowning glory 👍😁. The tour by the owner Mr. Brückner was extremely interesting and you could see everything in detail (you can of course also buy his high-quality products 😉).
More visits are planned for tomorrow.

Actually, the main concern today (also tomorrow) was the day of traditional handicrafts 😁, my first point of contact was the Peter Sargatzke company in Schönheide, which makes very beautiful ceiling pyramids. After a little explanation by the owners, it went back. In Blauenthal I made a short stopover and walked a short distance by the waterfall and the surrounding area, but there wasn't too much time 🤷🏻‍♀️. Then again after Wolfsgrün and enjoyed a soup from the goulash cannon 😊, it continues in the next part ... 🙋🏻‍♀️

Today I picked out a recently saved tour from Z-Man, it was very nice to go and offered great views of our autumn landscape in the Ore Mountains. Only the approx. 2 km road and before the bad forest path, where I sometimes even missed the path and was a little wandered through the forest, could be saved by not turning left on the path before the road but crossing the road and on the other side then follows the path to the left. It should be the Steinbacher Ringweg, which I walked a little bit from Wildbach (exit Steinbach). Otherwise just wonderful and in the inheritance court statute I had a nice lunch break (was just free before 11 o'clock - my luck) 😃. The Hirtstein is always a worthwhile destination, a fantastic sight 😍🙋🏻‍♀️.

After noon I was still thinking about where I could walk a bit without having to drive for a long time, then I remembered the Scheibenberg, where I could enjoy this wonderfully sunny autumn weather 👍☀️😊.

Since a tree felling action was due today by means of removal by forestry experts, I once caught the dogs so that they don't scurry around there or maybe get hit by a branch.
Unfortunately it took a lot longer than expected, so I was back too early, but they didn't want to come back and so they came to the arbor, like me, where I was forced to have drinks and delicious kettle goulash 😅😋.

Today I borrowed the dog girls again to move them a little 😊.
It is not at all easy to take photos when you have 2 roll leashes in your hand, practically I only have 1 hand to take photos. And I have to be very careful not to let go of a leash when I have to freak it out. Not that easy as a dog sitter 😉.
Later I couldn't convince her not to walk through the mud, but then we'd rather be across the meadow than through deep mud. The membrane on my shoes doesn't keep what it promised 🤷🏻‍♀️, and I was able to give back 2 wet, dirty, but happy dogs 😅🙋🏻‍♀️.
