This hike takes us to the Netherlands.

We are at the Dollart. Where the freshwater of the Ems River mixes with the salty North Sea.

The sea dike ends at Nieuwe Statenzijl in eastern Groningen.

On the border between the Netherlands and Germany, the tidal river Eems flows into the Wadden Sea.
