Nice photo opportunity off the path. A narrow path up the slope leads to the rock gate. 😀

Wonderful tour with lots of natural sights and great forest trails.
I first walked past the Holzfrauenstäffele and the rock gate and then turned back so that the actual tour is a little shorter ... 🙈
It is best not to start the tour in Ebneth, but at the hiking car park just outside the direction of Burgkunstadt (can also …

Hike Ebneth near Burkundstadt. Nice hike with little highlights along the way.
Conclusion: 3 out of 5 ⭐️

I discovered the tour on Komoot and thought to myself, I want to go there.
Today it worked, we changed the tour a bit and started at the Jewish cemetery, a very large and beautiful cemetery, very photogenic, but unfortunately mostly closed. We continued to the Ebnether Keller, an incredibly beautiful area with great rock formations 😍
Another highlight was …

After what felt like an eternity, we went back to our old home. I knew the Ebnether Felsenkeller from my youth 🙊, before that we had a quick look at the Jewish cemetery, only from the outside, as it is always closed. After the Felsenkeller there is a beautiful viewpoint from which you can see all the way to Bad …

Nice tour if it weren't for the completely pointless part in the city. I don't understand why the start/finish point is at the train station. You can safely skip the 2 kilometers through residential areas. I would suggest the Jewish cemetery as the start/finish point. From there on, a wonderful tour through great forests on very easy to hike paths.

2 beautiful sunny days are behind us. And where was the best place to get vitamin D? Right. Outside in nature. And since Sunday is always a hiking day, as is well known, we set off at 7:45 a.m. with a crisp -6 degrees in the direction of Burgkunstadt.

The starting point of my tour today was at the Ebnether cellars. The sandstone cliffs and caves near Ebneth were formed millions of years ago.
My highlight today was the Pfersag waterfall, which still has plenty of water.
The Devil's Bridge, which leads over the Devil's Gorge, is also a worthwhile destination. Finally, a detour to the Felsentor near Ebneth. …
