Schilmbachschlucht-Klausenturm-Roter Fels-Jägersteig
Start war auf dem kleinen Parkplatz oberhalb von Hölzlmühle bei Ahornberg. Der Rundweg ist durchgängig gut ausgeschildert mit einer blauen 4 auf weißen Grund. 🚂 Bad Steben - Höllental🚂
Das Höllental im Frankenwald ist ein wildromantisches Flusstal der Selbitz zwischen Hölle und Blechschmidtenhammer .

Wonderful, rustic nature, partly demanding and challenging stages for me.
Start was at the train station in Bad Steben, direction Marxgrün past the quarry and the wonderful quarry lake which presented a fantastic play of colors.

Große Wonsees Erlebnisrunde
Vom Wanderparkplatz bei Schirradorf ging es erstmal zum malerischen Balmenflur.
Balmen sind Halbhöhlen die durch Auswaschungen entstanden sind. Prähistorische Menschen hatten darunter oft ihre Wohnungen. Später als Unterstand für Tiere genutzt.
Vorbei am Klingelloch und den Schwalbenstein unter welchen die Schwalbachquelle entspringt.

Taking advantage of the cool morning temperatures, we set off at about 15 degrees.
Many shady and easily walkable paths made the tour very pleasant.

Artelshofen-Harnbacher Mühle-Pegnitztal
Die ca 12 km lange Tour beginnt in Artelshofen, von da ging es zuerst durch das Engental zu den Weiler Siglitzberg.
Weiter geht es nach Treuf und zur idyllisch gelegenen ,historischen Griesmühle.
Kurz nach der Griesmühle bietet sich ein Abstecher zum Kleinen idyllischen Wasserfall am Harnbach an.

A very quiet tour, only a few cyclists were out in the Pegnitztal.
On the other hand, I was attacked by an unusually large number of horseflies; with the humid air, these critters were in high season today.
A variety of different butterflies made the tour something special.

Von Johannisthal ins wildromantische Waldnaabtal zur Blockhütte
Im Oberpfälzer Wald versteckt sich ein einzigartiges Naturschutzgebiet - das Waldnaabtal.

My tour into the Waldnaabtal today started at Haus Johannistal.
Pleasant temperatures, but high humidity caused one or two bouts of sweating.
The break in the beer garden at the Blockhütte with delicious food and cool drinks made up for everything.
A beautiful, quiet, and relaxed tour in the wonderful Waldnaabtal.
