The Karlslinde at the end of the plateau was once planted as a peace line and today, together with the bench, serves as a shady resting place with a view.

Celtic Stone Wall on the Kienbein

Highlight • Historical Site

The stone walls here in the area are on the one hand picked stones from plowing, and here also part of an old fortification of 800-475 BC. Here a moat was carved into the rock.

With beautiful hiking weather and great visibility, we continued for another day through the Swabian Jura: Buckleter Kapf - Nägelesfelsen - Höllenlöcher - Kolzental - Buchhalde - Schillingskreuz - Karlslinde - Seizenfels

Today I was cycling 😁 on the way to simply record more than when biking. The route offers a lot worth seeing. With the Gopro and my 6m long carbon rod, photos were possible at a great distance/height. Photos 19 to 27.

Today I walked Bad Urach from the quieter side. There are a few nice vantage points and most of them were rocky/rooty paths along the Albtrauf.

Showing Translation

The ascent begins on the outskirts of Bad Urach, then stretched out over a ridge in the direction of Dettingen. Again and again beautiful views of the Ermstal and the opposite castle ruins. Numerous "hell holes" along the way. Return by train or bus possible.

Start at the glider airfield "P" Flieger. The recording got off between Buckleter Kapf and the Hellholes. Simply follow the "Hölllöcher" trail markers.

Was it a nice day in March today 🌞-from Hülben I went to Buckleten Kapf. Wonderful there - so alone with a view, chirping birds and the diligent hammering of the woodpecker and my provisions 🐰🐰+ ☕.
Next then on the Albtrauf to the Nagelsfels and of course through the Höllenlocher.
Great tour - from the Kapf the way back …
