The Hörder Burg (Hörde castle) is located in the south-east of Dortmund, close to the river Emscher, now right at the new harbor plaza of the 2010 created Phoenix Lake. I had previously visited the Phönix de Lumiere. However, it's about 2 km away. It's a good combination with the walk around Phönixsee.

I did the tour during the week. It's very crowded here on weekends, so keep that in mind.
