Beautiful path through an almost surreal lunar landscape to the Balos lagoon. Maybe it was also the time of year. Halfway there is the possibility of being carried by donkeys.

The descent from the parking lot is a breeze for hikers. However, the drive high over 7 km of washed-out gravel road takes a lot of nerves. If we had assessed it that way beforehand, we might have done without it. But it was nice in the bay, and not so crowded this late in the year.
