Dinosaur Rock

Highlight • Natural Monument

Nice vantage point. If you stand at the very front and look down (no head for heights) you will see a few rocks that rise up like the bone plates of a Stegosaurus.

In the Werkerbrunnen in Sauerbornbachtal the iron-containing water was sold in clay bottles as early as the 18th century.

This trail has it all, always down and up, down and up...etc...😬

Our third Wisper Runde led us in the Taunus to the Wispertalsteig.
This also pleased us very much again, because here the hiker is once again met by full nature.
Narrow paths, idyllic trails, challenging ascents and magnificent views.
That's how we know it from the Westerwald tours. The views here are really absolutely worth mentioning.

This weekend, the Laubach VHC (VHC Laubach) was out and about again. The destination of our hiking weekend was the Wispertaunus. Although this fantastic hiking region is almost around the corner, it was previously unknown to all of us.

A fantastic area, superb hiking trails, excellent markings, and cozy places to stop for refreshments.

The Wispertalsteig is the "mother" of all Wisper trails. I hiked the route with Lars in June 2017 (before my komoot days). Even now in autumn, the tour is impressive, even if the weather could have been a bit better. The densely wooded route alternates between V-shaped valleys and plateaus, ensuring a constant up and down, so the designation "trail" …

Today it was the Wispertalsteig. The Wisper Trails are all super beautiful hiking trails.
At first I thought it would be a bit boring today. At first it was mostly on paved forest paths, but then the route showed its charm. Narrow paths through the forest, over roots, sticks and stones.
I had to endure three showers. It thundered in …

Not the easiest Wispertrail, but a varied tour with a bit of fitness and a few bananas 🍌 🍌 in your luggage. It made sense to take part in the Wispertaler Krönchen at the end. 😜

After a little break from the alpine summer vacation, we continued today! The gray clouds in the morning scared us a bit, but the forecast promised 0% rain and so we started from the Laukenmühle car park (which is unfortunately closed) 🌼☁️ We alternated through forest and meadows with great views again and again. Especially the dinosaur rock and the …
