A very nice tour. Hardly any people on the move during the week, lots of flowers - wonderful

The area is a bit like a huge "city park".
Just keep your wheels off the Panzerstrasse...that's a private road...driving on it costs a €150 fine...I was lucky and "only" got a warning😅😘

A great tour of the former military training area. The wheels roll almost by themselves (sometimes with a little e-assistance) and you could take a new picture every 100 meters. A little caution is only required on the few gravel sections. There are even several toilets and a snack in the abandoned village of Gruorn. Definitely climb the Hirsch tower, …

Sheep grazing was preserved in the park-like pasture landscape, as was customary on the Alb in the past. Very special is the village of Gruorn, which had to be abandoned by its residents in the 1930s. Today only …

Our tour was now supposed to go from Münsingen over the Hohe Warte, down the Rutschenfelsen to Bad Urach and back through the Trailfinger valley back to Münsingen.
When I arrived in Münsingen, I realized …

From Feldstetten through the military training area. Family outing. Fortified with red sausage and a shandy, still puffing on the Hursch.

Very nice cycling. Mostly paved, some steep gravel paths.

At the start of my short vacation in the Swabian Alb, I only did a little lap in the former military training area of Münsingen today. The course covers a huge area of untouched nature. Just nice to look at this great landscape! The weather could have been a bit better - at a height of 800 meters, the wind …
