The route follows familiar paths along Adelsbergstraße to the Goldener Hahn (Golden Rooster). From there, the route continues along the old Zschopauer Straße, alongside the new B 174, to the Ruhebank settlement, where it passes under the main road and through the forest. Only this short section is off-road, but otherwise, the route is easily accessible via paved paths.
