The new weather-protection mushroom on the Chemnitz High-Altitude Hiking Trail in Reichenhain (there are three other such mushrooms along the 18km long high-altitude hiking trail) is located on the "Zufahrt zur schönen Aussicht" road, a few meters from Gornauer Straße. The "Schöne Aussicht" itself is located about 200-250 meters away on the "Schöne Aussicht" road, directly at the so-called Kriegersiedlung (warrior settlement). There is also a dedicated information board there. The two are often confused or interchanged. Both spots are certainly highlights for hikers and cyclists.
