Highlight • Rest Area

From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the Weser. There is also a shelter here and a nice rest area in the oak forest down by the river bed.

August 24, 2025,Tour um die Weserbachtalsperre in Eupen.🇧🇪
@Deleted User , good day, this is a reservoir in Belgium, it is located about 50 km from my home.😉

In the lake tour series, here is the one at Eupen. Great route on beautiful asphalt or hard dirt paths. A more rugged passage to reach the crossing of the Vesdre but we would be bored if it were too simple 😉. In addition, the walk is completely in the middle of nature which changes from day to day at …

It is the third-largest lake and the most important (drinking) water reservoir in Belgium. The sight of how empty this dam is made me all the more sad. 😳
The hike was beautiful because it also went through the German-Belgian High Fens Nature …

A round of sailing on Sunday

Was OK. On the northern edge of the dam there were beautiful root paths along the bank, which are definitely worth it. The rest is asphalt and more of a race track.
