Old Bridge Over the Schlitz

Highlight • Bridge

Trains once ran over this bridge, on today's Vulkanradweg. The wooden surface rattles violently when the bike is run over.

Little Pfordt Lake

Highlight • Lake

Not far from the large and famous Pfordter See there is also this smaller lake. Bathing is not permitted there. A few anglers try their luck here.

Fulda Bridge at Lüdermünd

Highlight • Bridge

The beautiful bridge leads over the left Fulda arm. The Fulda is divided at this point and flows through 2 rivers. I don't know the reason for the division (yet). Possibly. is a weir upstream to be able to supply enough water to a mill.

Rain and strong winds again today 💨 So I only did the short tour. The scenery was very beautiful. Great route along the old railway line 🤩
Great organization by RSC Bimbach 👌👍👍 I'll be there again next year 🙃
