This is the Hennesee or northern loop of the Sauerland Cycle Ring. Between Wennemen and Meschede, we ride along the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route, definitely not a highlight of this circuit and certainly not part of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route.

Today we drove the Henneseeschleife on the Sauerlandradring. The starting point was the parking lot in Berge, right next to the cycle path. The circular route is nice to drive. Unfortunately in some sections along federal and country roads, (but it works), but in other sections idyllic over old railway lines and quite a bit along the Hennesee.
