The climbing area Wennefelsen was rehabilitated in the years 2016/2017 for climbing and partly re-opened. It is located near the villages of Eslohe and Wenholthausen. The difficulties of the now established 19 routes lie between the 4th and 8th degree (UIAA) and the area is well suited for beginners due to the wall height and protection.
Location: The climbing area Wennefelsen is located near Wenholthausen / Eslohe in the city triangle Sundern, Meschede and Schmallenberg. On the L 55, between the towns of Bremke and Eslohe, take the L 541 (south road) in the direction of Wenholthausen.
