On a whim, I drove to Sundern after work on Friday. A beautiful Airbnb apartment welcomed me. I used Saturday to sleep in, have breakfast, and then take a relaxing ride around Lake Sorpe. The entire route follows the beautiful shoreline, paved with cycling paths, partly through the colorful autumn forest. I also cycled around the retention basin near Amecke. …
