I finally found time for a little hike. We went to the Briestal, probably one of the most beautiful places in Brandenburg.

A video was even made on the tour:

I experienced an impressive adventure in nature along the Briesetaler Steig, a hiking trail in the middle of a fascinating moorland landscape. The scene was characterized by dead trees that rose into the sky like matchsticks and gave the place a surreal atmosphere.

Briesetaler Steig is always a good alternative if, like me today, you don't want to make a long journey or travel long distances. Since I did the route in the morning, I had the Briese almost to myself today. Only at the very end did people show up sporadically 😊

A circular hike that is signposted directly from the Birkenwerder train station. In the shade of the trees you can look at the beautiful, mysterious and bizarre landscape.

This is a tour that I can only recommend to real nature lovers! A natural forest that looks almost like a primeval forest and in the middle of it all a river that can do whatever it wants (unless the beaver has something against it). Plus absolute peace and quiet. I've only ever seen something like this on the Schlaube. …
