The perfect place to rest. From here you have an incredibly beautiful view of Merano and the valley, in the background the mountains, just fantastic. For resting there are also tables and benches.

@Bernhard Also drove up the serpentines from Algund. Intense, highest setting and 2nd gear, really crazy

The Via Claudia Augusta accompanies you on this tour, and the hairpin bends near Algund lead you directly to the Trauttmansdorff Throne Chair.

The Adige River is to your left, and the easy-to-ride "cyclist highway"
below you brings the tour to its end in Naturno.

A wonderful 🚲 tour along the Etsch cycle path to Merano for 🍨 ice cream. A dreamy route, and just before Merano, the switchbacks down to Algund. 😍

Nice bike tour from Naturns to Vellau to Oberlechn and back to Naturns. You will be rewarded for the steep climb. Beautiful view over the whole Burggrafenamt, the Etschtal to Unterland..:-))

Today the weather was again forecast to be "unsettled", so we only made a short, steep climb to the Quadrathöfe in the cold wind 🚵 and then enjoyed a delicious venison goulash 🦌 in the Niederberghof in beautiful sunshine.
The weatherman was wrong again 😊
