Deviating from the actual route, I did not hike through Gemünden and instead followed the Westerwaldsteig around Gemünden.

I could chirp with the birds today. Starting with the Holzbachschlucht gorge, the Westerwaldsteig offered me a varied hike on the section I had made.
Due to a technical defect, there is very little water in the Wiesensee. So leave your surfboard or boat at home 😉.
You can swim in the large Secker pond. 🧜♂️
