Idyllic small lake with a nice refreshment stop - specialty Dampfnudeln (Caution! Only on selected days)

This is one of over 300 knight's stones of the Palatinate Forest Association. He points out a spring that pushes up water from below (in a small pond) and is located on the Kohlbach.

Hollerbach Spring and Stream

Highlight (Segment) • River

Beautiful lonely single trail along the Hollerbach.
Totally desirable and natural, it winds its way through the brook valley.
Ferns and the splashing accompany you on this section.

Very nice varied path. Ideal for the hot summer. Mainly through shady forest very pleasant on hot days. Cool off and stop after the tour in the Helmbach pond.

Today we went to Kohlbachtal. Unknown new paths and so beautiful. Even though there weren't the usual highlights with rocks and views, it was still a really nice round. Just the right thing after the relatively long 🌞 free time. We were able to do some bizarre things along the Kohlbach
🧊 marvel at the formats and never get tired …

The descent along the Hollerbach was very difficult due to the many fallen trees in the last few days, and at times we almost lost our interest in hiking. 😣
And then the Naturfreundehaus Lambrecht was closed... 😥
But the ascent to the Forsthaus Heldenstein could at least be managed without fallen trees and we were rewarded with wonderful, fresh …

On the last day of the year it was all about escaping the noise and finding silence. With this hike we hit the mark 😇. The beginning was great, we followed a narrow path ☺️ The next few kilometers on the wide forest path were a bit boring. But Sepp was our goal😃. He looked at us seriously from the …

Beautiful tour on old PWV paths (yellow/white, red cross and green/blue), some of which were already a bit overgrown and therefore exuded a touch of adventure. Since the Heldenstein forester's house is unfortunately (still?) closed, we only stopped off shortly before the end of the tour at the Lambrecht Nature Friends House in the Kohlbachtal. Beautiful place, we'd love to …

A stop at the Lambrecht Nature Reserve, which is also open on Thursdays and Fridays during the holidays. We definitely wanted to take advantage of this. But we wouldn't repeat the tour.

No highlights in my opinion.
Worth mentioning:
- Hollerbachtal
- Helmbachweiher
- Kohlbrunnen
- Kohlbachtal
- Sepp Felsen
(and butterflies unknown to me)
