"In the Dortmund Botanical Garden, the Rombergpark, there is a pond of almost 2000 m² with 17 swamp cypresses. The Rombergpark in Dortmund was planned by Düsseldorf's court gardener Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe and created in the years around 1820 on behalf of the noble Romberg family as a landscape garden based on the English model.
