A long tour on a very warm day and thanks to the good advice for accommodation in Mauthausen, we probably chose the shadiest option.
For me, the personal highlight was the culinary stopover in Ybbs with a generous portion of "Mohnnudeln".

Started early in the morning in Eferding and made a detour to Wilhering to see the rococo church.
Then took the ferry over to Ottensheim to drive on the left bank of the Danube to Linz. In Linz, visited the old town and simply couldn't get my hands on a Linzer Torte. 😉

On the first day of our e-bike tour from Passau to Vienna, many drinking breaks were taken due to the already good warm weather (36C). On the fifth day of the tour, the cycling route mostly followed the embankments.
The weather was a bit "cooler" again, which is probably why we saw more cyclists on the route.
Our last stop was chosen as Klosterneuburg, so we can easily get to Vienna by public transport tomorrow.
