Die Wetterapps sagten alle nur nachmittags 1-2h Sonne voraus usw. Die Realität war: Sonne den ganzen Tag, das war mal ne gute Basis für den ersten Tag. Von den Wegen war alles dabei, am Anfang von der Schatzalp abwärts auf dem „ Thomas Mann Weg“ mit Spieks, konnte man gut gebrauchen. Zu 80% waren die Wege / Wanderpfade gut mit festgetretenen Schnee gut mit Wanderschuhen zu begehen. Auch die Einkehr zu einem regionalen Mittagsessen kann man empfehlen. Einkehr bei „Kesslers Kulm“ mit Vortrag vom Seniorchef über die Historie des Hauses.

What fantastic weather! The first part from Schatzalp was by chairlift, and then we hiked along partly steep snow-covered paths to Strelaalp for a lunch break. Great views, including into the neighboring valley, and a highly recommended restaurant.
