Baroque garden

Highlight • Historical Site

The grounds of the Allerheiligen Monastery ruins also include a baroque garden with an ornamental pond, located directly on the Lierbach stream. A small museum is housed in one of the monastery buildings, the former servants' quarters. It is freely accessible and admission is free. There, you can see a diagram and a model of the monastery complex.

All Saints' Abbey ruins

Highlight • Historical Site

The remains of the monastery church form the most impressive part of the monastery ruins. Its cross-shaped floor plan is clearly visible in the still-standing walls, which display architectural styles ranging from late Romanesque to late Gothic.

All Saints Waterfalls

Highlight • Waterfall

I recommend hiking the All Saints Falls from the bottom to the top; they look more spectacular this way, as you always have the falls in front of you. They are particularly impressive in spring and after prolonged rains; after extended dry periods, they are far less beautiful. In winter, the path, if passable at all, is often icy and not without danger. In summer, it is pleasantly cool here.

The tour would actually be very nice, the waterfalls are a highlight. The rush of visitors was to be expected on a Sunday.
But the nearby road, which is used as a race track by motorcycle enthusiasts, is bad. The constant noise unfortunately spoils the pleasure of hiking here.

Today another tour in the northern Black Forest.
We were the first in the parking lot at the waterfalls, so we had both these and the monastery ruins all to ourselves.
First we went up a steep stone staircase along the impressive waterfalls, which had a lot of water today. Not far away the monastery ruins were waiting for us. …

I walked this mini Black Forest tour two years ago on my 9th transplant birthday and thought it was very nice. Now it was very important to me to run this with my mother. That didn't work for a long time because of the arthritis and rheumatism. But today it worked and what's more, she did a great job. Today …

Little Norway in the Black Forest 💚. That was such a nice tour. In great weather, a lot in the forest, so that it wasn't too strenuous for the flatland potatoes🤗. Highly recommended

Today, a detour to the Allerheiligen waterfalls and the monastery ruins of St Ursula completed the hiking weekend in the Black Forest. The tour is only about 7 km long but extremely varied. I parked at the hiking car park of the waterfalls. But I started via the road over the Green Stone and the monastery, including a visit to …

Unfortunately no network at the beginning of the tour. That's why the information on duration and length is not correct 🙄 according to the tracker almost 6 km. Tour itself very nice, varied. Only a few strenuous climbs.😊

Wonderful hike through the waterfalls in Allerheiligen. Some of the steps are very icy and not easy to walk on.
It could be that the path will be blocked again if the icing is even stronger.
Short detour to the memorial. Museum was open and can be visited free of charge. The monastery restaurant (according to the note on the …

Wonderful hike with great nature, great views and monuments. The parking lot is just before the fork in the main road.
