Heerle Chapel Poederlee

The Heerle chapel is a chapel Poederlee, located on Heerle. In 1572 there was a clay chapel here, but it burned down in 1622 and was rebuilt in 1625. The current chapel was built in 1663-1664 by order of the Proost family, lords of Lichtaart. In 1985 a sacristy was added. In 2004 the chapel was protected as a monument.
