Side valley in Alta Valtellina, in the Braulio Valley begins the Bormio side of the Stelvio Pass. Crossed by the river Braulio, the herbs for the liqueur of the same name, a rather alcoholic bitter, are collected here.

Built by the architect Pietro Del Fabbro, this shrine is presented in the form of a Roman triumphal arch; In the walls of this arch are the niches of the fallen, and outside of them a stone wall was erected.
The shrine contains the remains of 64 Italian soldiers, from the cemeteries of abandoned war Spondigna and San Ranieri.

We left for the Stelvio with totally misleading weather forecasts, we found rain, sleet, wind, clouds on the route and cold = 2 °
This does not justify my poor performance, almost all the velocipedes that have accompanied me have passed me. Downhill however, despite the wet asphalt it was quite another thing. The rest is ... story described in …

I'm not sure when this virtual ride was recorded but amount of motorized vehicles on the road is insane. Like this, it's not appealing to me to ride it in a real life. Must be some part of the year when ride would be more quiet.
