Dedicated ride to visit fisherman village of Rose. Lovely ride with small switchback to and from the Rose. Village is excellent example of the old settlements by the sea. Today was deserted but must be very busy during the summer. Happy pedaling 🍻

Lovely quiet ride along old Virpazar-Bar road. Once they opened the tunnel all traffic moved there and this road became cycling haven. Old narrow track train used to run this way too so now we can use old tunnel to shortcut under the mountain. It's over 2 km long without light and wet on some spots. Be properly prepared. Views and nature along the way are mesmerizing so time your time and enjoy. Happy pedaling 🍻

What an incredible ride. It has everything you would want from a perfect ride. Beautiful switchback with manageable inclines, mesmerizing scenery along the way, nonexistent traffic and glorious downhill. Along the whole ride I encountered: 3 cars, 4 humans, 5 cows, 20 sheep and 30 goats. My kind of crowds. Happy pedaling 🍻

After rainy night, day turned out to be very pleasant for wandering the hills around the Boka bay. Road through the mountain is very quiet and finished with poured concrete. Inclines are punishing but take your time and enjoy surroundings. Riding urban areas is different story, on multiple occasions I got almost kicked out of the road. Locals drive like maniacs, they will never stop behind you for incoming traffic. They pass you so close that wind kicks you away. I hate them with the passion. My patroon Saint Nicholas kept me alive all the way. That is why I stop by so many churches. Light up the candle for loved ones that passed away but also for us alive. Law enforcement doesn't protect us so I had to find some other options. Happy pedaling 🍻

Quiet roads and beautiful nature are highlight of this ride. There are some punchy inclines but nothing to be afraid of. There are not many amenities along the way so be prepared. Happy pedaling 🍻

I tried to squeeze one more outdoor ride before rain starts. It was at the edge of unpleasant, because of the wind, but luckily didn't rain. Cold weather came so fast, there is no more fall or spring. Happy pedaling

Beautiful morning with fog sitting in the valleys was good sign for today's ride. I planned to ride over the Soriška mountain, 1277m, and drop to the other side in to the Soča river valley. There is a train connection that goes under the mountain which I planned to take back. They have bicycle storage on the board. 4.5€ one way ticket. Everything went as planned plus I managed to ride to the Bohinj lake for refreshing swim. Soča river valley is another natural beauty that I'll have to leave for another trip. I'll attach few pictures that I took few days ago when we did sightseeing by the car. Cycling in Slovenija was great fun with only one downside, too busy for my taste. I'm guessing, riding in most of the western Europe would be the same. Happy pedaling and stay safe.

Incredible ride in to the Triglav national park. Nature and views are mesmerizing. I found a gravel road! It is long and challenging but views are unforgettable. Once you reach Rudna Gora, you will meet civilization(many cars) and paved road. I haven't been on it for long as I turned in to the side, village, roads with no traffic and great scenery. After the foggy morning, day turned in to the beautiful sunny one. Looks like that is the daily pattern here. Happy pedaling 🍻
